Job Search Help

How we can help and where to find us. Our office is located on the first floor of South Hall. We offer both individual counseling for your needs and a career resource library that contains all of the materials discussed on this page. The library is open daily and free to use anytime. If you need help please contact us directly by phone, mail or in person. Resources in the library are listed below.
Use these handbooks to guide you through the steps of a successful job search.

Free Workbooks

The information is in the form of downloadable PDF files in Adobe® Acrobat® format. In order to read these files, you need Acrobat Reader software. It's simple to download the FREE software by pointing your browser to: http://www.adobe.com/Acrobat/readstep.html and following three easy steps. If your browser is already configured with the reader, it will automatically load the reader when you click on the file. This format maintains all original formatting and allows accurate printing. You may also zoom in and out to read text at the most comfortable size without losing any formatting. Free printed copies are in the Career Library.

Handouts and Publications
  • Job Choices 98, a planning guide for students.
  • Peterson's Guides, directory of undergraduate and graduate study programs by school.
  • Professional career guides for Law, Business and Medicine.
  • Handbooks for applying to graduate school.
  • Miscellaneous handouts on a variety of topics related to the successful search.
Video Tape Library
  • Recruiting tapes from selected companies.

  • Informational tapes for the job search.

Internet Links To Careers
