Student Support Services (SSS) offers free tutoring to all students. The tutors are experienced UM-Presque Isle students and professional UM-Presque Isle faculty members. All tutors are expected to adhere to a strict "Code of Ethics" while tutoring students at UMPI. Student Support Services wants to help you become independent as a student.
Students who desire a tutor must first meet with our Tutor Coordinator, Helen Findlen. Appointments to meet with her can be made by ccontacting:

Students must complete a "Student Application Form". Students who have received services from SSS in the past must complete a "Returning SSS Student Services Request Form". These can be completed on-line and can be signed by the student at their appointment with out Tutor Coordinator.
