In addressing the University of Maine System Call for Action, Diversity in the Twenty First Century, the University of Maine at Presque Isle established a campus wide initiative to infuse a multicultural/diversity perspective within the campus community and to provide meaningful opportunities for inclusion and advancement within the university for all individuals of diverse backgrounds.

The university is committed to fulfilling these goals through efforts of the Diversity Committee and through collaboration and resource sharing with the community at large.
