Coach Saucier taught middle school Science and Physical Education in Georgia from 1991 - 1996 and also coached high school baseball and football, middle school football and track & field.  At the same time he was an adjunct instructor for Valdosta State's physical education department, teaching undergraduate courses at night.

A native of Millinocket (Stearns H.S., 1980) coach Saucier returned home to Maine to take a one year teaching position at the University of Maine - Presque Isle and assist with coaching the baseball team.  That assistant position became a head coaching position and has kept him here for 8 years as a full time instructor.  "I am so happy to be back coaching, but first and foremost I am a teacher.  The most important job I have is to help train successful teachers of physical education."
