Rock Wall

For your next adventure, come experience the excitement of rock climbing. The state-of-the-art rock wall at Gentile Hall is 37 feet high and features 8 climbs for all abilities. A bouldering wall provides an opportunity to challenge your climbing abilities. Our friendly staff is on hand to provide any assisstance you may need.

No Equipment? No Problem!
We provide all the equipment you will need to climb, including helmets and harnesses, free of charge. Climbing shoes are also available for a small fee.

MAY 3rd & 4th Climbing in Acadia
OAPI journeyed south to the beautiful coast of Maine, Acadia National Park! We were created with thick fog and a quiet cliff. Throughout the day we set up 5 different routes on Otter Cliff and got in a total of 19 climbs! Thanks to Lenny Cole for all of his enthusiasm and safe guiding on the rock!!

April 19th Bouldering Comp!!
There is one word to describe the first climbing comp held at the Gentile Hall Rock Wall...success! We were hoping for a larger crowd but the 7 strong, energetic competitors made it a fun and entertaining event! We would like to thank those businesses that made very generous donations for our prize table, Gentile Hall, Rocky Mountain Sports, Mojo's and the UMPI bookstore.

Feb 15th Father Daughter Climbing Night
Thank you to all of the families that joined us for a very successful Father Daughter Climbing Night. We would also like to thank all of the local businesses that made donations to this special event!
