Environmental Studies, Bachelor of Science, Laboratory Biology Concentration
The Environmental Studies program is an innovative degree program featuring opportunities for individualized approaches to environmental problems. Included are special seminars, field work, research activities and a cooperative education option. Students also have an opportunity, if they desire, to study at the two other cooperating campuses, University of Maine at Machias or University of Maine at Fort Kent.

Degree study in Environmental Studies leads to the Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in Biology, Field Biology, Laboratory Biology, or Geology. A self-designed concentration is also available for students with specific needs or requirements. In addition to major requirements, all Bachelor of Science candidates must complete the General Education Core.

Minimum cumulative grade point average required for graduation: 2.00. Cumulative grade point average required in courses in the Environmental Studies major and concentration areas: 2.25.
