Applied Sciences and Agriculture Transfer Program: Food Science and Human Nutrition
Note! At the time of printing of this catalog changes are taking place both in the organization of the colleges at the University of Maine associated with the transfer programs and in the curricula of studies listed. Such changes may affect the appropriateness of some of the courses listed for the following program. Prior to enrolling in a transfer program, students should obtain the most current course requirements for the program from the University of Maine to ensure that all of the courses taken at the University of Maine at Presque Isle are appropriate for transfer. The following program is designed to permit transfer into a selected major at the University of Maine after one or two years of study at the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Maine residents qualify for preferred transfer status into the appropriate college provided they maintain a minimum 2.50 cumulative grade point average in that portion of a major program offered on the Presque Isle campus. Non-resident students may also participate in these programs however, their transfer procedure requires a formal application for admission to the University of Maine following successful completion of courses at the University of Mane at Presque Isle.
