Health Education and Physical Education Faculty The Non-Teaching Degree in Physical Education is designed for students interested in entering such fields as fitness and wellness, cross-country ski coaching, or a self-designed area.
Students are expected either to take a minor or develop, with advisement, an emphasis within the movement studies realm. Field Work is a 15 credit experience which explores employment opportunities in emphasis areas such as cross-country ski coaching, sports communications, wellness and dance. Field work experiences are not to be fulfilled in a public or private school setting.

All candidates for the bachelor's degree must complete the General Education Core of Courses, which totals 44 credits.
