Preparing for University Living and Learning (PULL)
The PULL Program was initiated in 1996 to help our first year students succeed at the University. Students are not required to attend these programs, but we believe that the students who do participate in these programs will have a better chance of succeeding in college. Food and other prizes will be provided at most of the programs.

- Assisting you in finding on\off-campus resources you need to succeed.
- Assisting you in overcoming any transition issues you may face.
- Assisting you in discovering a wide-range of activities available on-campus.
- Assisting you in meeting new and exciting people.
PULL programs will be held every Tuesday night at 9:00 p.m. in the Merriman Hall TV Lounge, the Park Hall TV Lounge or the Park Hall Pit. (unless otherwise noted). We strongly encourage you to attend these programs. Times, dates and locations of events are subject to change. PRIZES! PRIZES! PRIZES! Just by attending these programs you will have the opportunity to win pizza prizes, shirts and gift certificates. At each program at least one pizza prize will be awarded. DECEMBER SEPTEMBER 7 -- Get to know your class
Come to a social and learn some of the rest of the people on your floor, in your building, and in your class. 14 -- College 101
Come and learn the basics of how to survive as a college student. Topics include: How to do your laundry, dorm room cooking basics and how to sew. Also included: HOW TO STUDY 21 -- Roommate Negotiating
Come and learn how to work out problems that may arise with your roommate and friends. 28 -- Alcohol Awareness
Come and test your knowledge against other students with a wild game of Alcohol Jeopardy!
OCTOBER
5 -- CPU Lingo
Come and learn some of the deadly (to your computer) threats out there in cyberspace. Know what a Virus is? How about a worm? Come learn how to protect your investment from these attacks.

12 -- No Program in recognition of Canadian Thanksgiving 19 -- Roommate Games
Now that you've lived together for a few weeks, come and compete for prizes by playing games based on how much you know each other!
26 -- World Series / Halloween Decoration
Come on down to the Park Hall TV Lounge. There will be pizza, trivia and prizes.
Most Importantly, THE GAME WILL BE ON!!!!
