Phone card: There are three options for obtaining a phone card

  1. Order a phone card off of your present long distance provider. Advantages: This is probably the cheapest card and the bill is sent to your home address. Disadvantages: The bill is sent to your home and your parents know how much time your spending on the phone.
  2. Buy a prepaid phone card form. Sam's, Wal-mart, or any other store that sells them. Advantages: Relatively cheap and if you lose it, you won't have to worry about someone stealing too much money/time from you. Disadvantages: You need to keep purchasing new cards as the old ones run out of time.
  3. Order your own card. Advantages: You control your spending. Disadvantages:You pay the bill and this method is the most expensive.

The items listed below are things that you should not bring.

  • Waterbeds
  • Pets
  • Items with open heating elements (hot plates, etc.)
  • Hologen Lights
  • Candles/Incense
  • Illegal Drugs
  • Alcohol (if under the age of 21)
