The University of
Maine at Presque Isle celebrated intellectual adventure during its sixth
annual University Day, April 11. Students gave public presentations and
talks relating to their academic research, scholarly work, and community
service. The theme of this year's event was Planting Seeds: Education,
Community and Service.
11 students presented and/or co-presented 6 diverse talks on environmental science, mathematics, archaeology, environmental chemistry, and glaciaogeology today. All of them did a great job. More than 80 students and faculty attended those presentations.
