The Environmental Chemistry class, led by Dr. Michael Knopp, made a trip to Mantle Lake Park to test and collect water chemical data on Monday afternoon, Nov. 27, 2006. Professors Dave Putnam and Chunzeng Wang from the School of Science and Mathematics joined the trip. It was snowing in the afternoon. The lake was also iced and the crew had to break the ice in order to paddle the canoe on the lake. The field trip ended up at Tim Horton's with warm coffee and other warm treats (Mike, thanks again!). See the following pictures for the great trip and UMPI's tough people.
