2006 -2001:

Assistant Professor, Department Chair (2006) University of Maine at Presque Isle.  Anthropology 100 (Four Field Anthropology), Archaeology Field School (ANT 286, 377), Natural and Cultural Resource Protection (REC 420), Science Lecture and Laboratory (PBS 012, 012L, SCI 110, SCI 110 L), Environment Interpretation (REC 386) and Glacial Geology Field Research (GEY 385).

2001-1999:

         Adjunct Instructor, University of Maine at Presque Isle.

1997 – 1999:

Exhibits Curator, Iñupiat Heritage Center. Ilisagvik College, P.O. Box 749, Barrow, Alaska 99723. (907) 852-4594. Coordinated the development of museum exhibits from construction of the $11.7 million facility to opening day (Feb.3,1999).  Raised $600,000 through grants and corporate donations for exhibit development and staffing.  Coordinated the development and installation of the following exhibits: Beringia, BLM (mkunz@blm.gov),  Eskimo Prehistory, Environment and Natural Resources Institute (ENRI), Herbert Aldrich with the Yankee Whalers, National Park Service (Sarah_Peskin@nps.gov) and the New Bedford Whaling Museum,  Inua, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institute (FITZHUGH.WILLIAM@nmnh.si.edu, and Arctic Studies Center, Anchorage Museum of History and Art aronc@muskox.alaska.edu), Traditional Eskimo Whaling,  Alaska Eskimo Whaling Commission and the Barrow Arctic Science Consortium (basc@barrow.com),  Hunters’ Wisdom, North Slope Borough Dept. of Wildlife Management (cgeorge@co.north-slope.ak.us), Global Climate Change, BASC,  Arctic Birdlife, Iñupiat Artists, and Arctic Leaders.  Selected and mounted archaeological artifacts from the Utqiagvik Collection for display in Smithsonian cases.  Labels were bilingual, designed in Iñupiaq and English.

Co-Investigator, National Science Foundation Grant, Southeast Alaska Karst Project.  I developed Holocene Sea-Level Curves, Tom Hamilton (USGS) glacial geology, Jim Dixon (Denver Museum of Natural History), archaeological excavation at On Your Knees Cave (PET 408), Tim Heaton (U of South Dakota), paleontological cave excavation.
