Siliceous sponge spicules are present throughout many of the sections drilled by Ocean Driling Program Leg 113. The assemblages consist mostly of monaxons and occur in Eocene to Pleistocene strata. Occurrences of the various spicule types are tabulated for Sites 689, 693, 694, 695, 696, and 697.
